Samuel A. Blank


Samuel A. Blank is a Co-Founder of Blank Property Group (“BPG”). Prior to forming BPG in 2011, he was a Vice President at RCG Longview, L.P., a New York City based real estate private equity fund that has placed more than $2 billion in the form of mezzanine, acquisition, construction, bridge and preferred equity investments. At RCG, Mr. Blank was responsible for originations, structuring, and underwriting, as well as all asset management functions. Mr. Blank began working in commercial real estate with BET Investments in Philadelphia in 2001, where he was responsible for retail acquisitions and leasing. He received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania.


Matthew S. Blank


Matthew Blank is a Co-Founder of Blank Property Group. Prior to forming BPG in 2011, he was a Senior Equity Analyst at Long Pond Capital, LP, which is a long/short hedge fund focused on the real estate sector. At Long Pond, Mr. Blank specialized in the multifamily and single-family housing markets.

Mr. Blank also previously worked at Morgan Stanley Real Estate, where he focused on investment banking, private equity, and the capital markets. At Morgan Stanley, Mr. Blank worked with a range of public and private clients in the real estate industry, focusing mainly on the apartment, strip center, office, and healthcare asset classes. He advised on debt restructuring assignments involving over $6B of CMBS loans, and executed over $650mm of equity capital market transactions.

Mr. Blank graduated from the JD/MBA program at the University of Pennsylvania Law School and the Wharton Business School. He received a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania.


Paul Caine

Vice President, Acquisitions

Paul Caine is Vice President of Acquisitions for Blank Property Group. In this role, he coordinates BPG’s acquisition sourcing and underwriting activities in New York City. Prior to BPG, Mr. Caine was an associate at the Leitner Group, New York City’s largest independent real estate appraisal and consulting firm, where he provided market and valuation research across all product types for lenders, investors, and institutional property owners. Mr. Caine received a Master’s in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Carleton College.
